How do I activate the licence?
On Windows, launch CCleaner 7, click Settings in the bottom-left corner, under My Subscription click Enter license key, paste the key from your e-mail and confirm with Activate. On a Mac, click CCleaner in the menu bar › Insert Activation Code (or press Cmd ⌘ + K), enter the code and click Activate.
How many computers can I use it on?
The licence covers 1 computer: the Windows variant covers one Windows PC and the Mac variant one Mac. If you uninstall the software, you can install it on another computer. This licence cannot be used for the CCleaner for Android app.
Which languages is the program available in?
CCleaner 7 for Windows is available in more than 40 languages, including English, Czech, Slovak, Polish and Hungarian. You can change the language under Language in Settings.
What happens when the licence expires?
You lose the Professional features such as automatic cleaning, driver and software updates and priority support. You can, however, keep using CCleaner as the free version and unlock the Professional features again with a new licence.
I still have CCleaner 6. Should I switch to version 7?
Yes. CCleaner 6 is no longer supported by the vendor – it receives no updates, bug fixes or security patches. Download the current CCleaner 7 from the official website and activate your licence as described in the Instructions tab.
Can I use CCleaner Professional in a business?
According to the vendor, CCleaner Professional is intended for home use. Businesses are offered separate business editions.

CCleaner Professional
Installation and activation
- On your Windows PC, download CCleaner from the official website (link below). CCleaner Professional uses the same installer as the free version – the licence key unlocks the Professional features.
- Run the downloaded file, click Yes in the User Account Control prompt and complete the installation.
- Launch CCleaner 7, click Settings in the bottom-left corner and under My Subscription click Enter license key.
- Paste the licence key from your e-mail and click Activate. Copying the key helps you avoid typos.
- Mac variant: download and install CCleaner for Mac, click CCleaner in the menu bar › Insert Activation Code (or press Cmd ⌘ + K), enter the code and click Activate.
- Check under My Subscription in Settings that your CCleaner Professional licence is active.
