What is the app called today?
In Google Play Store you will find it as Avast Cleanup. Avast now refers to the paid features unlocked by the licence as Avast Cleanup Premium.
How do I activate the licence?
In Avast Cleanup, tap Account ▸ Already have a subscription?, select Use an activation code, paste the code from your email including the hyphens and tap Use this code. See the Instructions tab for the full procedure.
On how many devices can I use it?
The licence covers one Android phone or tablet for the period of the chosen option (1, 2 or 3 years).
Could the app delete something important?
According to Avast, Avast Cleanup recognises apps and data that matter to you and your device and does not delete them. You can also customise how thoroughly it cleans.

Avast Cleanup & Boost Pro
Installation and activation
- On a phone or tablet with Android 10 or later, open Google Play Store and install the Avast Cleanup app (the link is also in Avast's official guide below).
- Open Avast Cleanup and go through the welcome screens (Get started ▸ Next).
- Tap Account in the bottom navigation bar and select Already have a subscription?. Right after the first launch you will also find this option under ⋮ More options ▸ Already purchased?.
- Select Use an activation code, paste the code from your email including the hyphens and tap Use this code.
- Check that the premium features are unlocked and run your first clean-up.
