How do I activate the licence?
Open AVG Driver Updater, click Menu ▸ Enter activation code, paste the code from your e-mail and click Enter. Step-by-step instructions are in the Instructions tab.
How many computers can I use the licence on?
On as many Windows PCs as the licence you choose covers (1 or 3). If you replace a computer, you can stop using Driver Updater on the old one and activate it on the new one.
Is updating drivers safe?
AVG Driver Updater downloads verified installers from hardware manufacturers and, before updating, backs up your existing drivers and creates a system restore point. If a new driver causes problems, you can roll back to the previous version or restore your system.
Does it update drivers automatically?

AVG Driver Updater
Installation and activation
- Open the official AVG guide (link below) and click Download AVG Driver Updater.
- Run the downloaded avg_driver_updater_online_setup.exe file (ideally right-click ▸ Run as administrator), click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open AVG Driver Updater by double-clicking the desktop icon, click Menu and select Enter activation code.
- Paste the licence key from your e-mail (Ctrl+V) and click Enter (if asked, enter your name, e-mail and postcode).
- Run a scan, review the outdated drivers found and update the ones you select. Some drivers may require a restart.
- If a valid code is rejected, use the AVG activation form linked from the official guide.
