How do I activate the licence?
On Windows and Mac, go to ☰ Menu ▸ Enter activation code; on Android, choose Already purchased? ▸ Enter activation code, then enter the code from your e-mail. Step-by-step instructions for every device are in the Instructions tab.
How do I activate the VPN on iPhone or iPad?
The iOS app does not accept activation codes. First activate the VPN with your code on Windows, Mac or Android and sign in to your AVG Account there (or create one). Then, on your iPhone, choose Already purchased? ▸ Sign in to AVG Account.
How many devices can I use the VPN on?
Simultaneously on as many devices as the licence you choose covers (5 or 10). You can mix Windows, Mac, Android and iOS, and according to the vendor you can move the licence freely between devices.
Does AVG keep logs of my activity?
According to the vendor, AVG Secure VPN does not log the websites you visit, the data you transfer or the IP addresses you access.
Which languages is the app available in?

Installation and activation
- Open the official AVG guide (link below) and download the app for your device: avg_vpn_online_setup.exe on Windows, avg_securevpn.dmg on Mac, and via the Google Play or App Store button on Android and iOS.
- Windows: run the downloaded file, click Install and complete the installation. Mac: double-click AVG Secure VPN in the .dmg file and follow the instructions.
- On Windows and Mac, open AVG Secure VPN, go to ☰ Menu ▸ Enter activation code, paste the code from your e-mail and click Enter (Windows) or Activate (Mac).
- On Android, open AVG Secure VPN, choose Already purchased? ▸ Enter activation code, paste the code and tap Activate.
- iPhone and iPad: first link the subscription to your AVG Account on an activated device (Windows: ☰ Menu ▸ Sign in; Android: Settings ▸ Subscription ▸ Link to AVG Account). Then, in the iOS app, choose Already purchased? ▸ Sign in to AVG Account.
- Switch the VPN on with the slider on the main screen – when it turns from red (OFF) to green (ON), your connection is protected.
- Repeat on your other devices up to the number your licence allows. If a valid code is rejected, use the AVG activation form linked from the official guide.
