​  How do I activate the licence?
Sign in at central.bitdefender.com (or create a free account), open My Subscr​iptions, click + Activate with code and enter the code from your e-mail. The code only needs to be activated once – all later installations and reinstallations are managed through your Bitdefender Central account.
​  How many devices can I protect?
As many as your chosen licence variant covers (5 or 10), in any mix of Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. If you stop using a device, remove it in Bitdefender Central to free up its slot for a new one.
​  Is the VPN really unlimited?
Yes. Ultimate Security includes Bitdefender Premium VPN with unlimited traffic and a free choice of server. You can use the VPN on as many devices as your licence covers, with up to 10 connected at the same time.
​  Can I use the key to extend my current subscr​iption?
Yes. If your account already holds the same subscr​iption (same product and number of devices), choose Extend current subscr​iption during activation and your remaining days are kept. The combined validity cannot exceed 5 years.
​  Do I need to uninstall my current antivirus?
Yes, remove any other security software before installing. Two security programs running at once can interfere with each other, and if the installer detects one, it will ask you to uninstall it.
​  What language is the app in?
You can choose the language of the Windows app in the installer and change it later in the settings; on a Mac, the app follows the system language. Bitdefender Central is available in many languages.
