​  How do I activate the licence?
Sign in to your Bitdefender Central account at central.bitdefender.com (or create one), open My Subscr​iptions in the left-hand menu, choose + Activate with code and enter the licence key from your email. You then install the protection, the VPN and SecurePass directly from Bitdefender Central.
​  How many devices can I use Premium Security on?
On as many as your chosen licence variant states (5 or 25 devices), in any combination of Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
​  How does it differ from Total Security?
Premium Security includes everything in Total Security plus an unlimited VPN instead of the basic version capped at 200 MB per day, AI-powered Scam Protection Pro, Email Protection and a system-wide ad blocker with anti-tracker.
​  How do I install the VPN?
Bitdefender VPN is a separate app. In Bitdefender Central click Install Bitdefender Products and choose to install the VPN product on the current device, or send a link to another device with Install on another device.
​  Do I need to uninstall my current antivirus?
Yes. Bitdefender advises never to have more than one security solution installed on a device at the same time. Uninstall your current antivirus and, on Windows, restart your PC before installing Bitdefender.
​  How do I renew my licence?
Buy a new licence for the same product with the same number of devices and, when activating the code in Bitdefender Central, select Extend current subscr​iption. The remaining days are added on, provided the total validity does not exceed 5 years. You can see the expiry date under My Subscr​iptions.
