Frequently asked questions
Which languages is the program available in?
Ashampoo 3D CAD Professional 14 is available in English, Slovak, Polish, German and other languages. Czech and Hungarian are not included.
How does it differ from Ashampoo 3D CAD Architecture?
The Professional version is designed for demanding planning work. Unlike the more affordable 3D CAD Architecture, it offers 2D DXF/DWG import and export, Maxon Cinema 4D export and custom window construction, among other things.
Does it run on PCs with ARM processors?
No. Ashampoo states that systems with ARM processors are not supported. The program requires Windows 10 or 11 and full administrator rights.
How many PCs can I use it on?
The licence covers one PC. If you replace your computer, uninstall the program from the old device before installing it on the new one.
Is the licence time-limited?
No. It is a lifetime licence for version 14 with no subscription. An internet connection is required for activation, and the program verifies the licence online at regular intervals.
How do I activate the licence?
Download the program from the official Ashampoo website, install it and enter the licence key from your e-mail in the activation dialogue. Step-by-step instructions are in the Instructions tab.

Ashampoo 3D CAD Professional 14
Installation and activation
- Download the Ashampoo 3D CAD Professional 14 installer from the official Ashampoo website (link below). The file is about 1.8 GB, so the download may take a while.
- Run the downloaded file with administrator rights, confirm the Windows security prompt and follow the setup wizard.
- Copy the licence key from the e-mail you received from us (select it and press Ctrl+C).
- When the activation dialogue appears during setup or on first launch, choose to enter the key manually, paste the key and click the activation button. Your PC must be connected to the internet.
- Once activated (and, if applicable, once setup has finished), you can use the full version without restrictions.
- If the program says the key is already activated (e.g. after reinstalling or on a new PC), reset the licence under Licenses in your Ashampoo account and activate again.
