FoneTool Pro is a Windows program for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. To transfer data between Android and iPhone, the vendor offers a separate FoneTool mobile app for iOS and Android with its own account.
How many devices does the licence cover?
The FoneTool Pro licence covers 5 Windows PCs and an unlimited number of iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices.
How do I activate the licence?
Run FoneTool as administrator, click the key icon in the top right corner, paste the licence code from your e-mail and click Register. The program switches to the Pro version automatically. See the Instructions tab for step-by-step details.
What is the difference between a 1-year and a lifetime licence?
A 1-year licence includes free upgrades for 1 year, while a lifetime licence includes free upgrades to all later versions.
Which languages does the program support?
FoneTool is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Traditional Chinese.
My PC doesn't recognise my iPhone – what should I do?
FoneTool needs the Apple Mobile Device USB driver, which is installed together with iTunes. Unplug and reconnect your iPhone, or install or update the driver – FoneTool's own tool can also diagnose and fix driver problems.

AOMEI FoneTool Professional
Installation and activation
- On the official FoneTool download page, download the Windows version (Free Download).
- Run the FoneTool_setup.exe installer, click Install Now and follow the wizard to complete the installation.
- Run FoneTool as administrator (right-click > Run as administrator) – registration requires administrator rights.
- If the registration window does not open by itself, click the key icon in the top right corner or choose Menu > Register. Paste the licence code from your e-mail (without spaces) and click Register – the program switches to the Pro version automatically.
- Computer without internet access: start FoneTool offline, enter your licence code and the Machine Code from the offline registration window at fonetool.com/get-offline-key.html, then paste the offline key into the program.
- Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer. If FoneTool does not recognise it, install the Apple Mobile Device USB driver (it is installed with iTunes).
