Frequently asked questions
Which languages is the program available in?
ZOOM #3 is available in English, German, Polish, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Japanese. Czech, Slovak and Hungarian are not included.
What is the difference between ZOOM #3 and ZOOM #3 Professional?
The standard edition handles images up to 50 megapixels, the Professional edition up to 3 gigapixels. For the Professional edition, Ashampoo also lists 8 deep-learning models for different image types, up to 10 quality levels, STM with adjustable contour reconstruction, a colour module with up to 10 layers, the Virtual Microdetails module, a spectral monochrome mode and automatic dark frame and flat frame correction, among other things.
Why do I need the Ashampoo App?
The program is installed, activated and updated through the free Ashampoo App, where you also manage your licences. The app verifies the licence in the background.
How many PCs can I use it on?
The licence covers one PC. If you replace your computer, uninstall the program from the old device before installing it on the new one.
Is the licence time-limited?
No. It is a lifetime licence for ZOOM #3 with no subscription. An internet connection is required for activation, and the licence is verified online at regular intervals.
How do I activate the licence?
Sign in to your Ashampoo account in the Ashampoo App, choose Activate product and enter the licence key from your e-mail. Step-by-step instructions are in the Instructions tab.

Ashampoo ZOOM #3
Installation and activation
- Download the Ashampoo ZOOM #3 installer from the official Ashampoo website (link below) and run it. The program is installed via the free Ashampoo App, which also has its own page (link below).
- Sign in to your Ashampoo account in the Ashampoo App, or create a new one free of charge.
- In the app, choose Activate product and enter the licence key from the e-mail you received from us – the licence is added to your software collection.
- Install ZOOM #3 from your collection in the Ashampoo App and launch it. Your PC must be connected to the internet.
- Open a photo, choose the target size or a preset and check the result in the comparison view with the magnifier.
- If you change computers, uninstall the program from the old device and reinstall it on the new one from your collection in the Ashampoo App.
