How do I activate the licence?
Open Watchdog Anti-Virus, click License in the bottom-left corner, choose Activate License, enter the licence key including the dashes and confirm with Activate. Step-by-step instructions are in the Instructions tab.
How many computers can I use it on?
On as many computers as the licence you choose covers (1, 3 or 5). The program is designed only for PCs running 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
Do I need to uninstall my current antivirus?
Yes. The vendor recommends running only one antivirus on a computer, so uninstall your existing antivirus before installing Watchdog Anti-Virus.
Which languages is the app available in?
Watchdog Anti-Virus is available in English, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Spanish and Turkish.
What if I reinstall Windows or change my computer?
You can keep using your existing licence after restoring the system or reinstalling the program, so keep your licence key somewhere safe. According to the vendor, moving a licence to another device is possible in most cases – Watchdog support will help you with it.

Watchdog Anti-Virus
Installation and activation
- If you have another antivirus installed, uninstall it first – the vendor recommends using only one antivirus program.
- On the official Watchdog Product Downloads page, click Download Installer under Watchdog Anti-Virus to download the installer.
- Run the downloaded file and complete the installation by following the wizard.
- Open Watchdog Anti-Virus and click License in the bottom-left corner of the window.
- Click Activate License, enter the licence key from your e-mail including the dashes and confirm with Activate.
- In the License section, check that the licence is active, then make sure the home screen shows Realtime Protection as ON.
- Go to Settings, click Update and run your first System Scan.
