How do I activate the licence?
Download Ashampoo ActionCam from the official Ashampoo website and run the setup. When prompted for your licence key, paste the key from your e-mail and click “Activate now!”. The Instructions tab has the full steps.
How many PCs can I use it on?
The licence covers 1 PC. If you move to a new computer, uninstall the program from the old one first. If activation then reports that the key has already been activated, you can reset the licence under Licenses in your Ashampoo account, or contact Ashampoo support.
Is the licence time-limited?
No, it is a lifetime licence with no subscription. Activation requires an internet connection, and the program verifies the licence online at regular intervals.
Which languages is the program available in?
ActionCam is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and other languages. A Polish version is not available.
Does ActionCam run on ARM-based PCs?
No. The program requires 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11, and systems with ARM processors are not supported.
I already have the trial installed – do I need to reinstall?
No. Just launch ActionCam, click “Enter key manually” in the activation dialog, paste the key from your e-mail and click “Activate”.

Ashampoo ActionCam
Installation and activation
- Download the Ashampoo ActionCam setup file from the official Ashampoo website (link below).
- Run the downloaded file, confirm the prompt and follow the setup wizard.
- When the setup asks for your licence key, copy the key from your e-mail (Ctrl+C) and click “Paste from clipboard”.
- Click “Activate now!” and then “Next” to finish the installation. Activation requires an internet connection.
- If the key prompt does not appear during setup, or you already have the trial installed, launch ActionCam, click “Enter key manually” in the activation dialog, paste the key and click “Activate”.
- If activation fails, temporarily disable your VPN and check that your firewall or antivirus is not blocking the program's internet access.
- Once activated, click “Let's go!” to use ActionCam without trial restrictions.
