How do I activate the licence?
Sign in to My Kaspersky or create an account, enter the activation code from your e-mail and download the app straight from your account. It activates automatically after installation – see the Instructions tab for the full steps.
How many devices can I use Kaspersky Plus on?
As many as your chosen option covers – from 1 to 15 devices. You can freely mix Windows and macOS computers with Android and iOS phones and tablets. The Profile section of the app and your My Kaspersky account show how many devices are already protected.
When does the licence start?
A subscription activated with an activation code runs from the day you activate the app on the first device, not from the date of purchase.
How does Kaspersky Plus differ from Standard and Premium?
Compared with Standard, Plus adds an unlimited VPN, a password manager, the full Data Leak Checker, Hard Drive Health Monitor, Backup and Restore and Secret Vault. Premium adds identity protection, expert virus check and removal, and a free one-year Kaspersky Safe Kids subscription.
I use another antivirus or an older Kaspersky product. What should I do?
Uninstall any third-party antivirus before installing. Kaspersky Plus installs directly over Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Internet Security, Total Security or Security Cloud – the old app is removed and its settings are kept. When switching from Total Security, your file backups are kept as well.
Which languages is the app available in, and what do I need?
The app is available in English, Czech, Polish and Hungarian, among others. You need an internet connection and a My Kaspersky account; for a stable VPN connection, your internet provider must support the WireGuard protocol.

Installation and activation
- If another vendor's antivirus is installed on your computer, uninstall it first – running two antivirus programs side by side can cause problems.
- On the device you want to protect, open the My Kaspersky website and sign in to your account or create a new one.
- At the bottom of the page, under "Already have an activation code?", enter the activation code from your e-mail (format xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx) and click Add. A subscription panel appears in the Subscriptions section.
- Click the subscription panel, choose Download and run the downloaded installer. Follow the Setup Wizard – once installation is complete, the app activates automatically according to your subscription.
- To start the VPN, go to the Privacy section of the main app window and click Use in the Kaspersky VPN block. Kaspersky Password Manager can be downloaded directly from the Kaspersky app window.
- To add another computer, phone or tablet, sign in to the same My Kaspersky account on it and download the app. Alternatively, click "Protect your devices and devices of your close ones" in the app and share a link or display a QR code to scan with your phone's camera.
- To check the activation, open the Profile section of the app – it shows your subscription, the number of protected devices and how many more you can add. The same details are available in your My Kaspersky account.
