AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus
AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus is the edition of AOMEI Backupper designed for businesses, IT technicians and managed service providers (MSPs). A single licence lets you protect an unlimited number of Windows PCs and servers within your company and provide billable technical support to an unlimited number of clients. Alongside backup, restore, cloning and sync, it includes the AOMEI Image Deploy and PXE Boot Tool utilities and lets you create a portable version of the program. One licence for unlimited Windows PCs and servers within your company.
Backup and restore
Back up systems, disks, partitions, files and emails automatically on a schedule or when a specific event occurs. Incremental and differential backups are supported.
System and disk cloning
Migrate Windows together with your applications to a new disk or SSD without reinstalling. MBR/GPT disks and UEFI boot mode are supported.
AOMEI Image Deploy and PXE Boot Tool
Deploy a system image to multiple computers on your local network at once. The PXE Boot Tool can also start multiple computers on the LAN simultaneously via network boot.
Portable version

Frequently asked questions
How do I activate the licence?
Launch AOMEI Backupper, click Menu → Register, paste the licence code from your email and confirm with the Activate button. On a computer without internet access, use offline registration with an offline key from the AOMEI website. You will find the full procedure in the Instructions tab.
How many computers and servers can I use it on?
On an unlimited number of Windows PCs and servers within one company. The licence is valid for one technician, who can use it to provide billable technical services to an unlimited number of clients. If the software is to remain installed on a client's computer after the service ends, the client needs their own licence.
What does the AOMEI Backupper Central option add?
AOMEI Backupper Central is a console from which you remotely manage AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus on an unlimited number of PCs and servers within your local network. It adds remote agent installation, centralised backup and sync, and Microsoft SQL database backup.
How does it differ from the Technician edition?
The Technician edition is intended for an unlimited number of Windows PCs within a company but does not support Windows Server. Technician Plus additionally covers Windows Server 2011 to 2025.
Which languages is the application available in?
The interface is available in 21 languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian and Russian. You can change the language under Menu → Settings on the General tab. Czech and Slovak are not supported.
How long is the licence valid?
The validity depends on the option you choose – the option marked 1 year is valid for one year. An expired licence code can no longer be registered in the program, so you will need a new licence for a further period.

AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus
Installation and activation
- Open the official AOMEI download page for AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus, fill in the short form and download the installer with the Download Now button.
- Run the downloaded file and install the program by following the wizard.
- Launch AOMEI Backupper. If the registration window does not open automatically, click Menu → Register.
- Copy the licence code from your email into the registration box (without spaces before or after it) and click Activate. The computer must be connected to the internet.
- On a computer without internet access, clicking Register opens the offline registration window showing the machine code. On any computer with internet access, go to https://www.aomeitech.com/get-offline-key.html, enter the licence code, the machine code and the verification code, and click Get Offline Key. Paste the offline key you receive into the offline registration window and click Activate.
- After successful registration, the program runs as the Technician Plus edition you purchased. On the Tools tab you will find, among others, the Create Portable Version tool for creating a portable version on a USB drive.
